About Department:The Department Of Punjabi was established in the year 1979. The Department started imparting Education in the rural areas of Ropar district. Punjabi subjects read in compulsory all streams(B.A,B.sc,B.com and B.C.A) Punjabi Literature elective subject only B.A(arts) stream. Objectives of our department include Increasing the love of Mortal Language in the minds of the students. To motivate students to read Punjabi literature. Creating the ability to understand the grammar of Punjabi language in students. Develop Punjabi reading skills in students.
