In an effort to depict the current state of higher education within the nation, the Ministry of Education has been actively organizing an annual web-based survey known as the All India Survey on Higher Education (AISHE) since the academic year 2010-11. This comprehensive survey encompasses all educational institutions across the country that are involved in the delivery of higher education. The survey meticulously gathers data across various crucial parameters, including faculty, student admissions, academic programs, examination outcomes, financial aspects of education, and infrastructure provisions. The data analysis is grounded on pivotal indicators of educational advancement, including Institution Density, Gross Enrolment Ratio, Student-Teacher Ratio, Gender Parity Index, and Per Student Expenditure. These indicators play a pivotal role in facilitating well-informed policy-making and contribute to the research endeavors aimed at the betterment of the education sector.
